Human Orchestrated Tools and Agents is the Texas AI Alliance’s hands-on Saturday training program. Each session focuses on one tool, one skill, or one workflow — with enough time to actually learn it, practice it, and ask real questions. No rushed demos. No passive slide decks. No death by PowerPoint.

These are paid, small-format sessions designed for professionals who are serious about building real AI skills. You’ll work alongside peers who are figuring out the same challenges you are, guided by practitioners who use these tools every day.

Innovation Spotlights bring together the Texas AI Alliance community each month — where two members take the stage to share their expertise, experiences, and insights on AI. From practical applications to emerging trends, every session delivers a fresh perspective straight from the people doing the work across Texas’ AI ecosystem. It’s one part networking, one part education, and completely community-driven.

Each Innovation Spotlight includes dinner, open networking, and reverse pitches — where members share what they’re working on, looking for, or offering to the community.

These spotlight sessions are free to attend and open to both members and non-members.

The Summer AI Intensive is a three-day, in-person program that brings together Austin’s top AI practitioners, leaders, and professionals for an immersive learning experience unlike anything else in the region. Designed for every level — from executives building organizational strategy to developers shipping real AI systems to professionals ready to put AI to work every day — the Intensive meets you where you are and pushes you further.

This is not a conference. There are no passive audiences and no slides to file away. Every session is hands-on, every facilitator is a practitioner, and every participant leaves with real skills, real connections, and a clear path forward. Three days. Three tracks. One community serious about leading what comes next.

Held each January, the State of AI in Austin is the Texas AI Alliance’s flagship annual event. Each year we bring together 200+ professionals for an afternoon of research insights, expert panels, and live innovation showcases. The program draws from our annual State of AI Report — a data-driven analysis of AI trends, workforce impacts, and community applications shaping Austin and beyond.

Each year, the Texas AI Alliance recognizes organizations and individuals advancing responsible, human-centered AI across Texas.

Presented annually, the AI Excellence Awards honor the people and organizations translating AI innovation into real-world impact — across research, workforce development, ethical practice, and community benefit. Recipients are selected by an independent panel of Austin-based judges following a competitive evaluation of submissions from across the region.
