Find answers to common questions about membership, events, sponsorship, and how the Austin AI Alliance works.

Any company, university, government agency, nonprofit, or individual with a presence in Texas is welcome to join. If you’re outside the Austin area, check whether one of our sister organizations serves your city.

Individual members get full access to events, working groups, and community resources. Organizational members get everything individual members get, plus:

  • First opportunity to sponsor events and Alliance programs
  • Speakers Bureau access — positioned to speak at national conferences coming to Austin
  • Brand visibility and logo placement
  • Ability to amplify small organizations and nonprofits

The core difference is that organizational membership unlocks sponsorship priority, public visibility, and speaking opportunities that individual members don’t have access to.

Organizational members have the opportunity to speak at monthly innovation spotlights and conferences through our Speaker’s Bureau. If this is something you are interested in, let us know! We love to hear your successes and how they can benefit others. 

Although we know you would love us to record the meetings, the community and connection time of the meetings cannot be replicated online.

Yes. Organizational memberships cover all employees and staff associated with that organization.

We don’t offer discounts. Instead, we keep our membership rates accessible for everyone. Membership fees go directly toward funding Alliance programs, community events, and scholarships that benefit the entire Austin AI ecosystem.

Our innovation spotlights are free of charge. Other events do usually have a fee associated. This allows us as a community to offer scholarship to those in need.

Members get free or discounted access to Alliance monthly meetings, HOTA sessions, workshops, and major events like State of AI Austin. Some events are also open to non-members.

Although we are a non-profit, your membership dues help ensure we have the best speakers, up to date programing, and are able to offer scholarships. As a community, everyone investing together allows our impact to reach further.
