The Texas AI Alliance connects and equips Texas’ professionals, educators, and leaders to adopt AI with confidence and purpose.

The Texas AI Alliance vision is to make Texas cities world-class in advancing the understanding, capabilities, usage, and positive impact of AI by coordinating the collective AI design, development, engineering, application, and education expertise in Texas and by leveraging Texas’s culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

In 2025, 28% of Austinites said AI had an impact on their job.

WHY CREATE THE ALLIANCE?

According to our 2025 survey, over 35% of Austinites feel business leaders in Texas should primarily help train people on how to use AI in their daily lives, ensure responsible and ethical AI development, and identify and support “best practices” in implementing AI.

A staggering 53% of employees surveyed in 2025 said that their company uses AI.
